Custom Pillows
When it comes to pillow sizing, the answer isn’t as straightforward as you might expect. A pillow can have two different measurements: the size of the pillowcase (before stuffing) and the size of the pillow once it has an insert.
Understanding when to use each measurement is key to avoiding confusion.
For example, the term “18”x 18″ pillow” refers to the dimensions of the pillow cover before it is filled. When you specify an 18″ x 18″ pillow, you’re indicating that the cover should be made to those exact measurements. This seems clear enough, but the potential for confusion arises when you actually receive the stuffed pillow.
